Striking Hunter

This is a portrait of a Great Egret. The original image stroke me with its elegancy in shape and colors. I decided to enhance that feeling in my painting. I felt that this bird was strikingly beautiful and at the same time he was very focused and ready to strike. So, that’s how I got the name for the painting. The original painting 11”X14” was done in acrylics on board.
