Rooster and Sphinx--Dialog Through Millennia

Rooster and Sphinx--Dialog Through Millennia

By Anna Shevtsova

Rooster and Sphinx--Dialog Through Millennia is a painting of two Hoodoo Rocks in Zion National Park, Utah. Hoodoos, due to their sedimentary and volcanic nature, can take very interesting forms that can resemble lots of different things. These two looks like a rooster and a sphinx having a dialog at their leisure. And this dialog has been lasting for millennia! The original painting 20”x16” was done in acrylics on cotton canvas panel.
